Oswestry Olympians ladies lead the way in the North Wales Cross Country series.
There was a magnificent turnout from Oswestry Olympians for the most recent race in the series.
A new venue at Whitford in the grounds of Mostyn hall provided a challenging course in cold and very muddy conditions.
Ryan Stokes led the way for the men, with a battling run to finish 23rd while James Pickering and Tim Tansley worked well together to gain finishes in the top 50.

In the ladies race, Charlotte Hunter once again led the way in 11th closely followed by Nicola Shipp in 12th who was also first over 45 female to cross the line.

Lou Williams, Claire Lloyd and Lou Woolcock grouped well all finishing within the top 25 while Yvonne Hill won the women's over 55s category.

With three races down and two to go in Colwyn Bay and Oswestry in early 2023 the Olympian ladies' team sit in first position in both the seniors and veteran leagues.
The men are battling it out with Deeside to retain third position in the seniors' league.
